Side-Scrolling Fantasy Game “Wicce” Available Today for Nintendo Switch

Publisher CFK has announced that 2D fantasy game Wicce is available today (3 June) on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Developed by Alpheratz*, Wicce has been available on Steam PC since 2016. The game stars a witch who is searching for her missing daughter in the dark medieval world overrun by plague and hordes of monsters. Players control the witch, who can jump, double jump, slide, and use her broom both as a weapon and a means of transportation. Wicce also includes a New Game+ mode with additional hidden content that affects the final ending.

Here’s the official plot synopsis from CFK:

There was a witch and her young daughter living together in the deep woods.

One day, the daughter went on an errand but didn’t come back even after the sun set on the horizon.

So the witch headed to the town to look for her.

What she didn’t expect was the town filled with sick people, and fiends letting out foul aura!

In search of her dear girl, the witch fights the monsters and cures the sick.

But the Pope, having heard of her actions, sees the witch as the one who caused the epidemic…….

Wicce is available today (Thursday, 3 June) via the Nintendo eShop (here). To celebrate the release, CFK is offering a 10% launch discount until Wednesday, 16 June. The Steam version of Wicce (here) has also been updated to include all of the new content and features of the Nintendo Switch edition.
