Meet the Larger-than-Life Ladies of Billy Nunez’s “DAMEGANG”, Now on Indiegogo

Independent comic book creator Billy Nunez recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for DAMEGANG: Tall Tales, a THICC 80+ page graphic novel that’s intended to be the first of a three-part miniseries.

The project is already raking in girthy stacks of cash, crushing its original funding goal. Now all that Nunez has to worry about is maybe coming up with some stretch goals… and printing… and fulfillment….

But what about the book? Here’s the brief plot pitch taken from the DAMEGANG Indiegogo campaign page:

In the world of this comic book, DAMEGANG, some women grow to be around 9 feet in height; super tall, and extra thick. This happens in the same way, and at about the same frequency, as the way some people become dwarfs. This comes with some advantages, but with a lot more disadvantages than you might think.

In DAMEGANG #1: TALL TALES, we follow 3 of these giantesses; MAVEN, VANESS, and RIO. They gain super powers when they come in contact with an ANCIENT ARTIFACT and try to get answers from an ARCHAEOLOGIST.

For $25, backers can get a copy of DAMEGANG and two trading cards (one of which featuring your giantess of choice). If you have more money to throw around, you can also pick up multiple copies of the book, a variant cover, and a poster. It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $5 for those in the United States.

Still on the fence? Nunez has posted the first first 27 pages of DAMEGANG here, so you can check out it out for free before deciding whether to jump in. Now that’s motivated salesmanship, I tell ya’ what.
