“Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja” Getting the Retro Remake Treatment in 2022

On Thursday, game publisher Microids announced that retro arcade platformer Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja is getting a the remake treatment and scheduled for a 2022 release on both PC and consoles.
Originally developed by Data East for arcades in the early 90s, Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja was ported to the SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo, NES, Amiga, etc., and later received a sequel titled Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics.
This new version of Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja will be developed by Mr. Nutz Studio (Toki, Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All!), and will include several new features such as an original adventure mode with all new stages.
