Batten down your hatches, fellas, Ava Bloodstone is back to capture more booty!

On Friday, independent comic book creator Mandy Summers launched a crowdfunding campaign for Pirate Queen 2, the 60-page sexy sci-fi adventure follow-up to the first book that was successfully crowdfunded in 2020. The project is already fully funded, having raised more than $4 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written by Summers (Super Dead, Jack the Ripper: Vampire Hunter) and featuring illustrations by Clint Hilinski (Sea Dog and Codename: Kill Switch), Pirate Queen 2 is the continuing adventures of a buxom redhead interstellar pirate named Ava Bloodstone.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Pirate Queen 2 Indiegogo campaign page:

On the outer edge of the known galaxy… Adventure Awaits!!! Join the PIRATE QUEEN on her continuing adventures as she faces off against Alien Monsters, Bounty Hunters, and the Galactic Imperial Union of Federations! And against just some drunk guys hitting on her at a space bar. The PIRATE QUEEN has her hands full either way! Cuz everybody is looking to tap that Space Booty! There’s more Treasure Chests and Pirate Booty than you can shake your ‘yard arm’ at! Step on board the Star Raider with the crew and get ready to blast off into ADVENTURE!!!

Backers can get a copy of Pirate Queen 2 for $25. If you have more bills for the stuffing, you can also receive the following booty:

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $12 (!) for those in the United States. Summers also promises that the books will be bagged, boarded, and shipped safely “inside bubble wrap inside a Gemini mailer!”
