On Friday, independent comic book creator Mandy Summers launched a crowdfunding campaign for Pirate Queen, a 60-page, sci-fi adventure graphic novel with an unabashedly sexy sheen.

Written by Summers (Super Dead) and featuring illustrations by Clint Hilinski (Sea Dog and Codename: Kill Switch), Pirate Queen is the origin story of a busty redhead named Ava Bloodstone, who seems to have trouble keeping herself fully clothed during her adventures. Oh no!

Meet the PIRATE QUEEN, Ava Bloodstone, as she takes you on a Galaxy Spanning, Adrenaline Pumping, Non Stop Sci Fi Adventure!!!
