Undead Vikings Vs. Nazis in Jason Michalski’s “Northern Blood” (Crowdfunding Spotlight)

Independent comic book creator Jason Michalski recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Northern Blood, an 80-page, black and white graphic novel. At the time of this writing, the project is already fully funded, having raised 230% of its initial funding goal.

Written by Michalski and featuring illustrations by Antonio Rojo, Northern Blood is a horror fantasy tale set in an alternate history version of World War II.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Northern Blood Indiegogo campaign page:

NORTHERN BLOOD is a fast-paced action/horror story set in Nazi-occupied Norway during the winter of 1942. Undead Viking warriors rise from the grave to massacre the Nazis responsible for ransacking the tomb they swore to protect!

Backers can get a digital version of Northern Blood for $6, while physical copies start at $12. If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive the following:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • A variant cover
  • A bonus sketchbook
