Retro-Inspired Shoot ‘Em Up “Moon Dancer” Coming to Steam PC on 14 January
Terarin Games recently announced that their retro-inspired vertical shoot ‘em up Moon Dancer will be released on 14 January for Steam PC. While it features the aesthetics of an old-school NES game, Moon Dancer also promises a gaming journalist-friendly “no stress” experience, whatever that means.
Here’s the official breakdown of Moon Dancer from Terarin:
Moon Dancer is a vertically scrolling Shmups featuring exhilarating lock-on laser. This game uses the NES color palette. The graphics are retro style, but it’s a modern game with no stress. Not only the NES generation but also the younger generation can enjoy playing. The illustrations and color schemes are pop and cool.
• Pop and cool rock-on laser Shmup.
• Use the NES color palette as an art style.
• There is an “arcade mode” consisting of all 8 stages and a “caravan mode” in which you compete for a 3-minute score.
• Supports online ranking.
Moon Dancer will be available 14 January on Steam PC for $14.99. If you act quickly, there will be a 15% discount for the first week. You can check out a free demo of the game, or add Moon Dancer to your Steam wishlist here.
