Evoluzione’s Black Bishop Returns in “A Shot at Love” (Crowdfunding Spotlight)

Love is in the air for Evoluzione’s woman of mystery.

The sexy super spy turned mercenary is back with a crowdfunding campaign for an all-new 32-page comic titled Black Bishop: A Shot at Love. The project is already fully funded, having raised a combined total of nearly $7 thousand at the time of this writing.

Created and co-plotted by Marcel Dupree, this new Black Bishop adventure is scripted and co-plotted by Guido Martinez and illustrated by Gaurav Shrivastava.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Black Bishop: A Shot at Love Indiegogo campaign page:

Black Bishop, the former super spy is trying to balance her secret life as a mercenary and maintaining a committed relationship. But it all falls apart when the happy couple is caught in a political conflict between a seditionist terrorist group and a Middle Eastern monarchy.

Backers can get a digital version of Black Bishop: A Shot at Love for $8, while physical copies of the book start at $15 (which includes an art print and the digital PDF version). If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up the following:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • Variant covers
  • Poster
