QUByte Announces the Return of Retro FPS “Zero Tolerance” for Modern Consoles

On Wednesday, QUByte Interactive and PIKO Interactive announced that the retro FPS Zero Tolerance is coming to PS4, PS5, XBone, SeXbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Officially titled QUByte Classics – Zero Tolerance, this new port will actually be a collection of 3 games: Zero Tolerance, Zero Tolerance Underground, and an unreleased demo titled Zero Tolerance Beyond, which is unlockable by completing one of the other two games.
Originally developed by Technopop and published by Accolade on the SEGA Genesis in 1994, Zero Tolerance is an early example of an arena shooter set in a sci-fi universe riddled with aliens (naturally). Go forth and kill them dead with guns, grenades and lasers.

The name Zero Tolerance refers to an elite squad specially trained composed by five members that are available to choose in the beginning of the game, each one with their own unique weapons and skills that completely changes the way you play through the levels in the game.
The port also includes new features to improve your experience, such as achievements and trophies for the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game and controller buttons rebind for each game, which allow the players to play as they like better.

• Environment completely in 3D with a 360° degree perspective
• 5 save state slots per game
• 4 screen filters (XBR, CRT, Smooth and Sharp)
• 3 screen types (Normal, Fit and Stretch)
In addition to a digital release, there will also be two limited physical versions of QUByte Classics – Zero Tolerance available via Strictly Limited Games. The Limited Edition (29.99€ / $34.99) will include the game, case and manual, while the Special Limited Edition (49.99€ / $55.99) will include several additional tchotchkes and collectibles fir diehard Zero Tolerance fanatics (?), such as posters, stickers, an original soundtrack and more.
A release date for QUByte Classics – Zero Tolerance has not yet been confirmed.
