Haunted House Sim “Horror Tycoon” Announced for Steam PC

Publisher Gameparic recently revealed Horror Tycoon, a simulation title with a Halloween-themed hook.

Developed by Smidge Games, Horror Tycoon gives players the chance to create the ultimate haunted house attraction. Will you knock your clientele dead, or will you at least have them screaming for more?

Here’s the official breakdown of Horror Tycoon from Gameparic:

You definitely must have visited a haunted house at least once. It might be a nice experience, and – in a way – a relaxing activity. But what if you were responsible for building a haunted house that will leave its guests breathless. For the rest of their life.

Horror Tycoon is a game that lets you experience the thrill of creating an ultimate haunted house. But the object is not to only make the visitors thrilled, but to kill them. Smidge Games put an interesting twist to a bit outdated formula of tycoons, mixing it with a tower defense genre.

Players will be responsible for setting up the walls, doorways, fake walls, and many more. Their goal will be not to let the visitors out alive. If they will leave with their life your reputation will be at stake – so you better plan those things out!

You can add Horror Tycoon to your Steam wishlist now, with a full release expected in 2023. The first playtest is planned for next week.
