ANCAP Comix recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Voluntaryist Origins VI, the final book in the Origins arc. The project is already fully funded, having raised more than $15 thousand at the time of this writing.

Created by “Jack L.”, Voluntaryist is a superhero tale where the protagonist Jack Lloyd takes on a totalitarian government.

This is the 10th anniversary for Voluntaryist – The Comic Series here on Indiegogo. With this special milestone, we are wrapping up the Voluntaryist Origins arc AND are remastering a couple of past issues to then place all Origins comics into a single trade paperback compendium for a start-to-finish read of Voluntaryist Origins.

The goal is to have the same artist from issues 3 through 6 remake issues 1 and 2 to bring the series into uniform style.

Comic Book Backstory

Voluntaryist is the tale of a superhuman hero who finds himself pitted against the government as the government tries to enslave humanity once and for all. He is a young man with extraordinary powers created through a chance encounter with cosmic radiation. His personal mission is to rescue his parents from government agents, but that objective is often frustrated with the likes of giant monsters, super-villains, and even the armed forces.

The comic takes a contemporary look at the question, “What does it mean to be truly free?”

Backers can get a digital version of Voluntaryist Origins VI for $5, while physical copies (with two stickers, an art print and a digital PDF) start at $35. If you have more money to spend, you can also receive the following:
