Survive the Horrors of Indonesian Folklore in “DreadOut 2”; Coming to Consoles in July

Publisher Digerati recently announced that the horror adventure game in the form of DreadOut 2 will be coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles in July.

Created by Indonesian developer Digital Happiness, DreadOut 2 is a third-person ghost hunting game inspired by Indonesian folklore and urban legends- as well as the first DreadOut game to come to consoles.

Players take the role of Linda Meilinda, “a high-school student able to sense and see ghosts.” Using a variety of weapons and her smartphone camera, Linda must must hunt down these wayward spirits and banish them from our world.

Here’s the official breakdown of DreadOut 2 from Digerati, followed by the announcement trailer:

This spine-chilling sequel expands on the cult hit original with all-new melee combat and a greater emphasis on exploration, making DreadOut 2 another compelling and terrifying addition to the horror genre.
