Julius Freeman’s Crime Comic “Vigilant Fury” Now on Indiegogo (Crowdfunding Spotlight)

Independent comic book creator Julius Freeman recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Vigilant Fury, an 80+ page, black and white, one-shot graphic novel.

Written by Freeman and illustrated by Anthony Gambino, Vigilant Fury is a gritty action drama about one woman’s struggle to escape a human trafficking ring.

Here’s the official pitch taken from the Vigilant Fury Indiegogo campaign page:

Hello, dear readers!

Welcome to my third crowdfunding campaign called Vigilant Fury!

Written by yours truly and drawn by the talented Anthony Gambino, this 80+ page one shot comic follows Angela Peretz, a young woman who, while vacationing in Florida, is kidnapped with the intention on being sold into human trafficking!

Angela seems like your typical everyday girl, but what the traffickers don’t know is that underneath her gentle surface lies a vicious and deadly warrior who will stop at nothing to escape her captivity.

Backers can get a digital version of Vigilant Fury for $5, while physical copies start at $15. If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up the following:

  • A behind-the-scenes book
  • Original artwork
  • Sketch cards
  • Art prints
  • Commissioned artwork

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $8 for those in the United States.
