X53 Studios recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Goshawk and Falconet, a 52-page comic book intended fir mature audiences.

The project is already fully funded, having raised nearly $10 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written by Martti Kauppinen and featuring illustrations by Daniel Pascual, colors by Javier Laparra and lettering by Alex Simmons, Goshawk and Falconet is a superhero story described as being “filled with bullets, blood & butt-kicking.”

From the makers of Arachna, comes a new superhero comic that takes place in the same, shared universe. Goshawk & Falconet are a bird-themed duo who use cutting-edge technology to fight crime in Los Angeles. From their secret lair underneath the Gunn mansion, Goshawk & Falconet can take to the streets using specialized motorcycles and glide in the air using their retractable wing engines.

Can Goshawk, alias Baron Gunn – an engineer turned millionaire superhero – save his beloved Sierra (Falconet) from the crime boss called King Vulture? Who
is the mysterious clawed criminal in question? Why does he know so much about the superhero duo, and not just when they’re in costume?

Backers can get a digital version of Goshawk and Falconet for $15, while physical copies start at $25. If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive the following:
