“Ray’z Arcade Chronology” and “RayStorm x RayCrisis HD Collection” Confirmed for Western Release

Publisher ININ Games recently confirmed that both Ray’z Arcade Chronology and RayStorm x RayCrisis HD Collection will be receiving a western release on both Nintendo Switch and PS4.

While Ray’z Arcade Chronology is planned to launch on 23 March 2023 in Japan, there is no set release date for the western versions.

All of the games are being developed by M2 in cooperation with Taito (the original developer). We don’t yet know which titles will be included with the RayStorm x RayCrisis HD Collection, but Ray’z Arcade Chronology includes the following games:

  • RayForce 1994
  • RayStorm 1996
  • RayStorm NEO-HD 2023 – A high resolution remaster of the arcade version Raystorm. RayStorm HD released in 2010 had an additional element, and the screen ratio was 16:9, this has the same content as the arcade version and the screen ratio remains 4: 3, thus its new title is NEO-HD.
  • RayCrisis 1998
  • RayCrisis HD 2023 – A high-resolution remaster of RayCrisis

Ray’z Arcade Chronology will be a digital-only release while RayStorm x RayCrisis HD Collection is planned for both digital and retail release via Strictly Limited Games.
