On Monday, Brenden Swan launched a crowdfunding campaign for Spiderwebs: The Voyeur of Utter Destruction, a 56-page, manga-sized graphic novel.

The project is already fully funded, having raised more than $1,200 at the time of this writing.

Written and illustrated by Swan (Strangelove: I Want to be Chrome, DisintegrationStreet), Spiderwebs: The Voyeur of Utter Destruction is a romantic thriller that features black and white, inkwash artwork.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Spiderwebs: The Voyeur of Utter Destruction Indiegogo campaign page:

A landlord of the Slow Burn Love Motel has built secret tunnels to examine the private lives of his tenants. When his newest tenant, Caroline, moves in, he finds himself falling for her beauty. Spying on her, he uses what he witnesses to become her perfect lover, but things are complicated with the actions of the Spiderweb Killer.

Backers can get a copy of Spiderwebs: The Voyeur of Utter Destruction for $10, but only if you snag it in the first 24 hours (otherwise it’s $15). If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive the following:

• Signed copies of the book
• A double-sized edition that includes Strangelove: I Want to be Chrome

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $5 for those in the United States.
