The biggest story in comics right now – whether you’ve heard about it or not – is Isom issue 1, the first book in Eric July’s Rippaverse.

July recently took to YouTube to provide updates on his project, which has now crossed more than $3.4 million from more than 40 thousand backers. He discussed book numbers, shipping dates, stretch goals, Rippaverse merchandise, future campaigns, fulfillment, and clarified some of his ongoing woes with using PayPal. He also showed off his warehouse space, which is filling up quickly with books, posters, and shipping materials.
