Mark Poulton’s Latest Graphic Novel “Loose Threads” Fully Funded on Indiegogo

“Pull the string! Pull the string!”
Veteran comic book creator and Haunted Pizza founder Mark Poulton recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Loose Threads, an 80-page superhero graphic novel.
The project is already fully funded, having raised more than $7 thousand at the time of this writing.
Written by Poulton (Graveyard Shift, Reaper Destroyer) and featuring illustrations by Cesar Madarro and colors by Anthony George (Graveyard Shift), Loose Threads is a fantasy story about a group of superheroes who escape from the pages of their world into reality. It’s like Gumby, but in reverse, with superheroes. Actually, it’s more like Super Y, but in reverse…
Here’s the official pitch taken from the Loose Threads Indiegogo campaign page:
Loose Threads is an 80 page graphic novel that tells the tale of a group of comic book characters that break out into the real world after their series have been canceled. Their goal is to track down their creator at a comic book convention and demand he finish their stories so they can fulfill their destinies!
Backers can get a copy of Loose Threads for $25. If you have more money to spend, you can also pick up the following:
- Multiple copies of the book
- A black and white version of the book
- Emerge art book
- A foil trading card
- A preview ashcan of Emoji Saves Christmas
- A Viking Wolf variant cover of Rivals
- A variant cover edition of Final Boss
It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $10 for those in the United States.
