Tecmo’s All-Female Fighter “Touki Denshou Angel Eyes” Now on PS4, Nintendo Switch via the Arcade Archives

Publisher Hamster has announced that Touki Denshou Angel Eyes (or Tokidensho Angel Eyes) is now available on Nintendo Switch and PS4 as part of the digital Arcade Archives series.

Originally released in arcades by Tecmo in 1996, this is the first time that Touki Denshou Angel Eyes has seen any kind of release outside of Asia. TDAE is a one- or two-player fighting game where you engage in hand-to-hand bouts to win the title of “Archangel.” The game features an all-female roster of eight characters, each of whom have an array of special attacks and techniques to achieve victory, with your most devastating power achieved when your “emotional gauge reaches its peak.” Uhhhmmm… yeah, that sounds about right.

Like other Arcade Archives titles, players can post their high scores to the online leaderboards and change various game settings to match their own personal skill levels and taste.

Arcade Archives Touki Denshou Angel Eyes is available today for $7.99 via PSN and the Nintendo Switch eShop.
