On Sunday, 9 Lives Comics launched an Indiegogo campaign for Inglorious Rex Volume 2, the follow-up to the first Inglorious Rex book that was successfully crowdfunded in 2021.

The project is already a kaiju-sized success, having raised nearly $120 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written by Shane Davis and Yanzi Lin, Inglorious Rex Volume 2 features pencils by Davis, inks by Lin, and colors by Jason Wright.

Rising star MMA fighter Alex Stone steps for the first time into the world of Rex Fighting – where 20 tons of genetically-manipulated clones are hitched to the neural systems of their human pilots, twisted together in no-holds-barred, high-stakes cage fighting.

Shane Davis brings to this project over 20 years of experience as a professional comic book penciller and writer on projects such as DC Comic’s Superman: Earth One, Batman, New Gods and more. He also co-created almost every member of DC Comic’s Red Lanterns, including the world famous fan-favorite cat Dex-Starr the Red Lantern.
