On Tuesday, independent comic book creator Luke Stone* launched a crowdfunding campaign for Hybrids: The Killing Field – The Complete Saga, which includes the final issue of The Killing Field story arc (aka Hybrids issue 9).

The project is already fully funded, having raised nearly $1 thousand at the time of this writing.

This launch comes just a few days after technical problems marred the debut of Stone’s own crowdfunding platform, FundMyComic.com, which he established to give creators a larger chunk of the funds raised and to ensure that creators are not impacted by political bias. Rather than put the whole project on hiatus until the kinks to got ironed out, Stone instead chose to return to his old stomping grounds at Indiegogo.

Written and illustrated by Stone and featuring colors by Patrick Gama, Hybrids: The Killing Field – The Complete Saga is a superhero book for fans of Ancient Aliens, conspiracy theories, and Chris Claremont-era X-Men.

All of the work for this release is complete and will be ready for print upon the campaigns end.
