Independent comic book creator Lynsey Leigh recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Compendium of the Unmasked: The Hollow Raven, a project that spans six issues (0-5) and is intended as the first volume of a seven volume story. Ambitious, no?

The project is already fully funded, having raised nearly $1 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written and illustrated by Lynsey Leigh, The Hollow Raven is a fantasy horror book boasting highly detailed, digitally painted artwork.

COTUM: The Hollow Raven is a character driven horror story that spreads across a multitude of genres including psychological, mystery, crime-thriller, action, science fiction, monster horror, supernatural, and heroic elements that any classic comic reader can enjoy.

The artwork is a painted digitally using traditional oil painting techniques, giving the art both a classic and modern style.

The chapters of The Hollow Raven differ from conventional comic issues. It has episodic storytelling and a writing style akin to a traditional novel with the bonus benefit of being structured like a comic.
