Drunk 3PO’s All-Ages Comic “Achromatic Chronicles: Blue” Raking in the Green on Indiegogo

Color me tickled pink. Or at least tickled.

YouTube host and internet personality Jay David launched a crowdfunding campaign for Achromatic Chronicles: Blue, a girthy 220-page graphic novel intended for all ages.

The project is already fully funded, having raised nearly $60 thousand at the time of this writing. That’s also enough to unlock the first stretch goal, a holographic sticker for all backers.

Written by Jay David and featuring illustrations by Lily Chan and Marinelle Vina, Achromatic Chronicles: Blue is intended as the first installment of a six-book series.

Here’s the brief pitch taken from the Achromatic Chronicles: Blue Indiegogo campaign page:

Achromatic Chronicles: Blue

Everything in Jon’s colorless world is going in a downhill spiral… that is until he meets Blue,

and suddenly they’re whisked away on an epic adventure

where Jon realizes the true value he has within himself!

Backers can get a copy of Achromatic Chronicles: Blue for $35. If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up the following tchotchkes and extras:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • A bookmark
  • Art prints
  • Signed copies
  • “Buy one, give one” tiers in which copies will be donated to charity

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $10 for those in the United States.

Interested? You can check out some sample pages below (well, a cover and one page, as that’s all there is available on the campaign page) or visit the full Achromatic Chronicles: Blue Indiegogo page here.
