Do the vigilantes have to recite the creed when they go to a promotion board?

Independent author Brent Turner recently launched Vigilantes’ Creed, a part novel, part mini-comic crowdfunding campaign featuring stories set in sci-fi universe inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft.

Written and created by Turner, Vigilantes’ Creed follows the adventures of a “gargoyle and his team of vigilantes fighting terror in Detroit.” The campaign includes two separate novels from the world of Vigilantes’ Creed, as well as a mini-comic featuring illustrations by Korey Barton (KOZOR).

Backers can get a copy of the Vigilantes’ Creed mini-comic for $12, while both novels start at $20 each. If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive the following tchotchkes and extras:
