Explore The Ink Art Worlds Of “TENSEI” On Steam PC

“It was most tranquil.”

Neuron Age’s indie development arm Project Pegasus recently released TENSEI on Steam PC, and is planned for release on other unspecified platforms at a future date.

Set in a stylish 3D world inspired by East Asian ink artwork, TENSEI offers a unique genre mishmash intended to be approachable by game journalists gamers of all skill levels. The gameplay itself has a lot of verticality, and is somewhat reminiscent of SEGA’s NiGHTS series.

Here’s the official breakdown of TENSEI from Neuron Age, followed by the latest trailer:

TENSEI” invites players to leap (and fall) over and over as they make their way upward through a world reminiscent of ink-on-paper paintings in this ultra-casual gaming experience.

In the Steam version, players can unlock endless gameplay by clearing certain conditions, and achieve maximum immersion with “ZEN mode” which is accessible in exchange for consumable items earned during play. The game also features achievements and leaderboards, allowing players to compete with each other to see who can get the top scores and reach the highest areas.

Gameplay Highlights:

  • A unique sensation of low-gravity gameplay: Project your consciousness into the game as you relax and lose yourself in the flow of the gameplay.
  • Use a triple jump to navigate from one platform to the next as you collect orbs, which allow you to enter boost mode and transform into a dragon to fly freely through the air.
  • Use drop attacks (quick dive) to purify damage zones.
  • Ascend to new heights as you focus your concentration and avoid taking damage.

TENSEI is available now for Steam PC priced at $2.99/€2.99/£2.49 and 0.50 Bison dollars. If you act quickly, you can still snag a 10% launch discount.
