All the ladies call him “the Horseman…”

This week, Rippaverse Comics launched a preorder campaign for The Horseman: Welcome to Florespark, a new “street-level”superhero story that combines elements from both Batman and The Punisher.

The Horseman preorder campaign is already a strong success, having raised nearly $400 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written by Chuck Dixon and featuring pencils by Joe Bennett, inks by Fabio Jansen and colors by J. Brown, The Horseman is the start of a new series in the larger superhero world of the Rippaverse, which includes Isom, Yaira and Alphacore.

The Horseman arrives in Florespark and he is bringing Hell with him! A street level vigilante who is not afraid to pull the trigger to take out the trash, what he lacks in Except abilities and superpowers, the man more than makes up with in strategy and military training. After returning home from his tour of duty, the war for The Horseman did not end.

He continues to use his extremely specific skill set to do what he does best and that is to protect innocents and create a better, safer world for his loved ones in the most lethal of ways. The Horseman’s alter ego is Hector Lee Caballero and he keeps his secret identity unknown even to his family, but when he manages to capture the wrong kind of attention from heavy hitters in the criminal underworld, he is forced to relocate to Florespark for their safety.
