Ghost of the Badlands 2: The Ghost Dance, the sequel to the YouTuber’s gothic Western graphic novel, is now crowdfunding on IndieCrowdfund via Arkhaven Comics, and it has already raised more than $40k toward its $50k goal.

Set in the Arizona Territory of the late 1800s, this second GotB installment introduces a new faction called the Children of the Ghost, who strike from ambush and refuse to be reasoned with or placated, which sounds oddly familiar to my contemporary mind….

The first Ghost of the Badlands graphic novel was RazörFist’s debut in comics, a 105-page slab of pulp illustrated by George Alexopoulos. For the sequel, RazörFist returns to the writing desk with a new illustrator Ryan Gutierrez taking over the artwork.

As with the first book, there are several options for fancy special editions. The Castalia Bindery is producing leatherbound editions plus a black-on-black blind-embossed Ghost edition, and for the first time the original Brimstone volume is available in those editions too, either alone or as a matching set of both volumes one and two.

The Ghost of the Badlands 2: The Ghost Dance campaign runs for about two more weeks on IndieCrowdfund, a Kickstarter and Indiegogo alternative that has quietly become a working home for many indie comics. You can check out the trailer below, or visit the full campaign page here.
