“Jawbreakers: Lost Souls” passes 10 thousand backer milestone

Over the weekend, the crowdfunding campaign for Jawbreakers: Lost Souls* reached 10 thousand backers on Indiegogo. That is a huge milestone for what has already been a very successful campaign, further reinforcing Jawbreakers’ status as the most-backed single-issue graphic novel in crowdfunding history.
Jawbreakers: Lost Souls is a superhero action/adventure story intended as a blend of The Expendables and The Guardians of the Galaxy, according to Jawbreakers creator and Lost Souls writer, Richard Meyer. Lending their artistic talents to the project are comic industry veterans, penciller/inker Jon Malin (Graveyard Shift, Cable) and colorist Brett Smith (Batman, G.I. Joe).
Despite the crowdfunding period ending in May, the Indiegogo campaign page remains open as an “on-demand” store, where it has slowly grown to its now girthy total of over 10 thousand backers.
