Soulcalibur documentary released ahead of “Soulcalibur VI” launch; confirmed character roster so far

On Tuesday, Bandai Namco released a Soulcalibur retrospective documentary on their YouTube channel celebrating the legacy of their classic fighting series. The first in a series, the video features several interviews with expert Soulcalibur players and mostly highlights the competitive fighting game community’s engagement with both Soulcalibur I and II. It’s not currently know how many parts the full documentary series will be, but it’s safe to say that more installments will trickle out ahead of Soulcalibur VI’s launch on 19 October.

In addition to the documentary, now seems to be as good a time as any to list the full fighting roster for Soulcalibur VI… at least as we know it now. Certainly more characters could sneak into the final game and it’s all but guaranteed that more DLC characters will be coming, but nonetheless, Below are all of the characters confirmed for Soulcalibur VI.
