Bandai Namco releases second part of “Soulcalibur” documentary ahead of “Soulcalibur VI” launch

Last week, Bandai Namco released the first part of a retrospective documentary celebrating their weapons-based fighting series Soulcalibur. Bandai Namco followed up this past Wednesday by releasing part two of the documentary, and while part one focused on Soulcalibur‘s origins in arcades and on SEGA Dreamcast, part two focuses exclusively on the upcoming release of Soulcalibur VI. More specifically, the latest video delves into the choice to set Soulcalibur VI in an earlier period of the Soulcalibur timeline, the initial reactions to Soulcalibur VI in competitive gaming circles, and the inclusion of this installment’s guest character, Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series.
Does your ass still burn? Take some Pepto and see a doctor, ya dink. But if your soul still burns, Soulcalibur VI releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on 19 October.
