On Wednesday, the crowdfunding campaign for Demons Volume 2 hit its funding goal on Indiegogo. Not too shabby, having only launched the campaign on 4 February.

Demons Volume 2 is a 130-page horror/suspense graphic novel written by Tyler Carpenter and featuring art by Trevis Martinez. Judging by the art, it looks like fans of excessive violence or the supernatural will have a lot to appreciate.

Here’s a plot summary taken from the Demons Indiegogo page:

“Demons Vol. 2 is the continuation of the story of Detective Ace Carter as he continues to fight his own personal demons, as well as the supernatural forces that are assembling in order to bring hell onto the Earth. Now that the Trinity of Hell is assembling, it’s up to him to find a way to stop all of it.”

Also included in Demons Volume 2 is a crossover story titled Hollow Girl vs Demons, by Tyler Carpenter and Luke Cooper (creator of Hollow Girl). This additional story ties directly into the larger Demons plot and also introduces the character of Hollow Girl into the Demons universe.

Backers can get a digital version of the book for $10, while physical copies start at $28. There are options to get both Demons volumes if you want to catch up on the story, as well as premium backing tiers which come with sketch cards or other original artwork.

Now that the Demons campaign is funded, there are several stretch goals to meet for some other bonuses (for backers of physical edition tiers).

• $3000 – three exclusive Indiegogo Trading Cards

• $5000 – STICKERS and a DIRECTOR’S CUT book of Issue #6

• $7000 – 11×17 poster of the Demons Volume 2 Cover

• $10,000 – A “draw and talk” mug that says “One Page Closer”

• $12,000 – All backers receive a new 12-page story of Demons that will take place between Volumes 1 and 2.
