Manga-Inspired “The Girl With The Mega Fists” Now on Indiegogo

On Tuesday, independent comic book creator Tyler Carpenter launched a crowdfunding campaign for The Girl With The Mega Fists Volume 1 via Indiegogo. The project was already fully funded on a different crowdfunding platform, so this Indiegogo campaign offers a “second chance” of sorts to back the book.

Written and illustrated by Carpenter (Demons), The Girl With The Mega Fists is a massive, 200-page black and white graphic novel with a heavy manga influence.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from The Girl With The Mega Fists Indiegogo campaign page:

The Girl with the Mega Fists Volume 1, begins the epic tale of Eliana, a girl who has been chosen by the gods to wield the all-powerful mega fists and is tasked to protect Earth alongside a partner presented by the gods. However, the gods have chosen two twin brothers, of which Eliana must choose who she will take down to Earth and serve with. Will she choose the brother who can wield the powers of the Almighty the best? Or will she choose the brother that has her heart? On top of that, will she be strong enough to battle the foes that come her way?

Backers can get a digital version of The Girl With The Mega Fists for $8, while physical copies (which come with the digital PDF) start at $15. If you have more cash to spend, you can also pick up the following:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • Variant covers
  • A personalized cover
  • An acrylic standee
  • Several of Tyler Carpenter’s previous books

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $6 for those in the United States.
