“ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove” releases 1 March, presented by McCaulay Culkin

For those who backed the Kickstarter campaign waaay back in 2015 (*raises hand), the long wait for HumaNature Studios’ ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove is almost over. After a turbulent production process, the first aliens of funk make their return to PC and consoles on Friday, 1 March.

Getting the final product to gamers has to be both a joy and a relief for both ToeJam & Earl’s creator Greg Johnson and the game’s producer, McCaulay Culkin.

Holy shit! McCaulay Culkin?!?

“Furries, people…”

Yep. According to a late-breaking reveal by HumaNature, the star Home Alone and president of Bunny Ears has pitched in as an executive producer, helping the HumaNature team reach the finish line.

Back in the Groove is a sequel over sixteen years in the making, and the fourth installment of the ToeJam & Earl series. All of the previous games in the series were published by SEGA on the Genesis/Mega Drive and Xbox in- Wait… 1991, 1993, 2002… now 2018… yes. The only U.S. President to not have a ToeJam & Earl game release during his tenure is Barack Obama.

Pfft!! Thanks, OBAMA.

Anyway, ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove will be available on digital marketplaces for $20, while physical copies for PS4 and Nintendo Switch are also available through Limited Run Games.
