Crowdfunding campaign for “Chrono Mechanics” graphic novel ends successfully, still available in-demand

Overnight, the crowdfunding campaign for Art Thibert’s sci-fi/comedy graphic novel Chrono Mechanics ended successfully, raising more than $26 thousand and easily eclipsing its $8 thousand funding goal. With that total, several of the campaign’s stretch goals were met, including multiple trading cards, a button, a guitar pick, and 6 extra pages of story (for a current total of 54 pages). Thibert marked the occasion by joining a livestream on Ethan Van Sciver’s Comic Artist Pro Secrets YouTube channel, which you can watch below.
Described as a mishmash of The Looney Tunes and H.G. Wells, Chrono Mechanics is a fully stand-alone story featuring the creative talent of Pamela Thibert (co-writer), Narwhal (colors), Jeff Eckleberry (letterer) and Render Contender (pencils assist) and of course, Art Thibert himself (writer/artist).
Upset that you missed out on the campaign? Don’t sweat it. Now that the crowdfunding period is over, the Chrono Mechanics Indiegogo page has transitioned to an in-demand store, so you still have a chance to buy into the book for a limited time. If the project manages to cross a couple more thresholds (which is looking quite probable), then the last stretch goals will add 6 more story pages and an upgraded binding.
Congratulations to Art Thibert and the rest of the Chrono Mechanics team. You can visit the Chrono Mechanics Indiegogo in-demand page here.
