Return to the floating city of Strata! “Downcast: Wrize & Fall” now on Indiegogo
On Tuesday, independent comic book writer Clint Stoker launched a crowdfunding campaign for Downcast: Wrize & Fall, an 88-page sci-fi graphic novel written by Stoker and featuring illustrations by Ignacio Lazaro, colors by Damian Penalba and letters by Eric Weathers.
Wrize & Fall is a sequel to 2019’s Downcast, and picks up shortly after the events of the first book. Here’s the official pitch taken from the Downcast: Wrize & Fall Indiegogo page:
After the near collapse of the city, Joanne and Jax find the opportunity they have been waiting for — a witness willing to testify in court to save their father. They will have to act fast, because now the gravity-defying orb is working against them.
Backers can get a copy of Wrize & Fall starting at $20. There are plenty of extras for those with more cash to spend, including multiple copies of the book, variant covers, poster prints, a head sketch by Stoker, and perhaps most importantly- a copy of the first Downcast book for those who missed it the first time around.
