Michael Derrick Presents Sci-Fi Action Comedy “The Abductables 2: Reticulous”

Independent comic book creator Michael Derrick and Cauldron Comics have been teasing a follow-up to The Abductables for a good while, and now the promotional gears are in full swing as the project’s pre-launch page is live on Indiegogo.

Artist Ibai Canales (Iron Sights) returns to illustrate the sequel, which will also include the painted artwork of “Ink Spots” (Cash Grab), though it’s unclear if this image will be used as a cover, trading card, or another promotional-type item.

But what’s it all about? Here’s the brief story synopsis taken from The Abductables 2′s Indiegogo pre-launch page:

This time it’s WAR!

The highly anticipated sequel to the cult classic comic THE ABDUCTABLES is finally here!

The Abductee is BACK and this time he’s up against his deadliest enemy yet–THE REPTILIAN!

The PREY becomes the Predator!

Through a bizarre twist of fate, The Abductee finds himself working for the very aliens who abducted him! But what happens when our hero faces a threat that’s no laughing matter? Enter: THE REPTILIAN!

For those who missed the first book, the new campaign will also have an option to pick up a copy of it so you won’t be lost… in SPACE!
