Rune Cutter Comics’ Horror Western “Butch Cleaver” Fully Funded on Indiegogo; Still Available In-Demand
On Tuesday, the crowdfunding campaign for Rune Cutter Comics’ Butch Cleaver ended successfully, raising more than $3,600 at the time of this writing.
Written and illustrated by Matt Burke, Butch Cleaver is a 72-page fantasy/horror/western inspired by “Spaghetti Western” films, Sin City, and Evil Dead. Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Butch Cleaver Indiegogo campaign page:
Legend has it…In the town of Oubliette lived a brutal butcher named Butch Cleaver, Townsfolk say he was murdered then resurrected by a voodoo hex that granted him power to control and weaponize bone, now he uses said power for revenge, reckoning and possibly redemption.
Sad that you missed out on the crowdfunding period? Don’t sweat it. Like many other Indiegogo campaigns, the Butch Cleaver crowdfunding page has transitioned to an in-demand store, so you can still buy into the project for a limited time.
Backers can get a signed copy of Butch Cleaver along with a trading card for $25. If you have more money to spend, you can also receive multiple copies of the book, a head sketch, and original artwork.
