ALL CAPS Comics’ CREED Revival Surges Past $30k on Indiegogo
Over the weekend, ALL CAPS Comics launched a crowdfunding campaign for CREED: Re-IMAGINARY, a revival of the 90s fantasy comic series by Trent Kaniuga.
Written and illustrated by Kaniuga, Re–IMAGINARY reintroduces the characters and world of CREED in an all-new, two-issue story. Here’s the official pitch taken from the CREED Indiegogo campaign page:
Mark Farley is a 17 year old comic creator, much like myself at 17! HIS comic documents his travels into a DREAMWORLD dimension, where he takes on the persona of “The Legendary Creator” – CREED. Together with his best pal (CJ), a morphing dreamfrog/dragon, they stomp out nightmares and face Marks most personal demons, manifested as the deadly Skeeziks!
After years of neglect, Mark returns to the DREAMWORLD only to find all of his creations trapped in despair and slowly turning to stone.
Together with a much younger CJ, they uncover a plot hatched by a mysterious figure (Laney) who seeks the power of the DREAM STONE, which would allow her to destroy everything and RE-IMAGINE the Dreamworld according to her own selfish desire.
Together with new friends, Mark must uncover the truth about the origin of the Dreamworld, and rescue the entire dimension, or cease to exist along with it.
Backers can get physical copies of issues one & two of Re-IMAGINARY (both 60 pages) for $40. If you have more money left to spend, you can also pick up multiple copies of the book, variant covers, original art, and reprints of CREED VS. Cyberfrog. It’s also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge of $15 for those in the United States ($10 if you only want the CREED Vs Cyberfrog reprints).
The CREED campaign has already raised more than $30 thousand at the time of this writing, so now it’s on to hitting the several stretch goals.
