Aaron Neff and Garrett Gabbey Bring the Robots in “Mavrics: Origins”

Independent comic book creators Aaron Neff and Garrett Gabbey are both hard at work preparing a crowdfunding campaign for Mavrics: Origns Volume 1, an all-new 60-page graphic novel.

Set in an alternate future, Mavrics promises to deliver “Such Robots! Many Action! Wow!” Here’s the official pitch taken from the Mavrics pre-launch page, followed by the creators’ recent appearance on Michael Bancroft’s YouTube channel:

Walking War Machines Fight To Conquer The World

Aaron Neff and Garrett Gabbey bring you an alternate future ravaged by a global collapse dubbed “The Cascade.” Amidst the struggle to rebuild, two global powers vie for control over what remains. As their war rages on, both sides race to create a technological key to ultimate victory.

A Post-Apocalyptic Military Action Thriller

In the skeletal remains of war-torn Ulaanbaatar, a squad of six brave pilots on a secret mission could bring on the endgame – but were the weapons they wield perhaps deployed for a different purpose?

Full-Color, 60 Page, 9×12 inch Graphic Novel

With a spectacular story and vivid visuals printed on high-quality paper, no expense will be spared bringing this ambitious project to life in an oversized package with a perfect binding!

Mavrics: Origins is expected to launch later this year on Indiegogo. While we all wait, you can check out some sample artwork below or sign up for email updates on the Mavrics project here. Those who do sign up and eventually back the book will receive an exclusive sticker as a bonus.
