Ethan Van Sciver’s “CyberFrog 2: Rekt Planet” Closes Big – Raises $1.2 Million

The crowdfunding campaign for the massively successful CyberFrog 2: Rekt Planet came to a close on Thursday, raising more than $1.2 million from nearly 12 thousand backers.*

CyberFrog is the brainchild of renowned comic book creator, ALL CAPS COMICS founder and YouTube/Odysee host Ethan Van Sciver. With Rekt Planet, he is once again joined by colorist phenom Kyle Ritter (Starblades) and the hardest working letterer in indie comics, Eric Weathers (Battle Brick Road).

Affectionately referred to as “Caesar”, “Uncle E”, “Pie Man” and “the human sunbeam” by his fans, Van Sciver celebrated the closure of his monumental campaign with a livestream on his Comic Artist Pro Secrets YouTube channel, which you can watch below.

Did you miss out on the Rekt Planet Indiegogo campaign? Well, you’re out of luck for the moment. The campaign page is now completely shut down, though there will likely be ways of picking up the book as part of future CyberFrog projects.

Congratulations (and special thanks?) to Ethan Van Sciver, Kyle Ritter, and the rest of the CyberFrog team. You can follow Van Sciver’s video channel Comic Artist Pro Secrets via YouTube or Odysee.

*Disclosure: The author of this post is a backer of the Cyberfrog 2 Rekt Planet Indiegogo campaign. Now where’s my frog book, Pie Man?
