Rob Muerto’s “Tales from the Classroom: The K.Thulhu Files” Now on Indiegogo (Crowdfunding Spotlight)
Independent comic book creator Rob Muerto recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Tales from the Classroom: The K.Thulhu Files, an anthological follow-up to the original Tales from the Classroom that was originally funded in 2019. (I really just wanted to use anthological in a sentence)
Weighing in at 50+ pages, The K.Thulhu Files includes three self-contained stories designed to be read in preparation for, or alongside, the upcoming and long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed
Here’s the official breakdown of each story taken from the Tales from the Classroom: The K.Thulhu Files Indiegogo campaign page:
The Tale of Kleotep
Written by Von Klaus and with art by Monika Maccagni, the superstar writer-and-artist team behind last year’s crowdfunding sensation, Monster M.D., “The Tale of Kleotep” invites readers to explore the enigmatic past of K.Thulhu High’s moonshine-guzzlin’, banjo-playin’, tobacco-chewin’ Mummy schoolbus driver known only as Kletus.
Quest for the Cosmic Dreidel
In “Quest for the Cosmic Dreidel”, a field trip to a famous synagogue takes a turn to the surreal as TALES FROM THE CLASSROOM’s gentle giant, Joshua the Golem, breaks away from the tour group to embark on a reality-bending, mind-twisting adventure!
Written by Rob Muerto and featuring art by Matt Crotts, the genius creator behind acclaimed series “Kyrie”.
Back in Romero
Written by Rob Muerto and featuring art by one of Argentina’s most talented comic-book artists, Maxi Dallo (KILL JOURNAL), “Back in Romero…” tells the story of everyone’s favorite teenage Zombie back when he was cool, well before Drake turned him into his personal welcome mat. But were things really all that rosy back then? When are they ever…
