King Toad Comics’ “DEATH DEATH DEATH” Now on Indiegogo

Overnight, independent comic book creator and King Toad Comics founder Joe Ball launched a crowdfunding campaign for DEATH DEATH DEATH, a girthy, 300-ish page sci-fi fantasy graphic novel. The project is roughly halfway to meeting its initial funding goal, having raised nearly $2,500 of its $5k goal at the time of this writing.

Written and illustrated by John Joesph (Joe) Ball (Super Harem) and featuring lettering by Steve Dye, DEATH DEATH DEATH follows a family struggling to survive in a war torn world. Here’s the official pitch taken from the DEATH DEATH DEATH Indiegogo campaign page:

Mother, Father and Child. They are on the run from their former tribe. The Ancient Natives want their homeland back. The Atlantians rebuild in a new and wild place. Ultimately, they all want to control the same planet. They all want war. They all want Death!

Death Death Death is a Sci-fi, fantasy story about the strength of the family, surviving another day, and the war for planetary dominance. The natives bring brute force, the tribes bring a savage ferocity of Bohemoth and the Atlantians bring the future to these creatures of the past.

Backers can get a manga-sized (5X7.5) edition with gray-scale artwork for $18, a 7X10 hardback line-art edition for $30, and a full color hardback edition for $45. If you have more money to spend, you can also pick up multiple copies of the book at a discounted price. It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $8 for those in the United States.
