Splatto Comics Tells Readers to “Mind Your Business”

Over the weekend, independent comic book creator and Splatto Comics founder Richard C. Meyer launched a crowdfunding campaign for Mind Your Business, an all-new, 26-page black and white book based on emerging current events.*
The third book in Splatto’s “Theosophy” series, Mind Your Business reunites Meyer with artist Kelsey Shannon (The Ballad of No). Each Theosophy book comments on real world situations before the final outcome is known, and Mind Your Business is set around Russia’s invasion of Ukraine (not The Ukraine).
Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Mind Your Business Indiegogo campaign page:
Desperate for content and obsessed with become an influencer, SKID trolls the streets of New York City looking for the Next Big Thing. When he sees a brazen thief walking right past a security guard with a TV in his hands, Skid decides to follow him. MARK has a completely different perspective on the situation, seeing that he is the one who is “liberating” the TV, but it’s really all about PHIL, his annoying roommate who keeps saying that he wants to go to Ukraine and fight Russians…if only SOMEONE would pay for his battle gear, plane ticket, and rent while he’s gone. But nothing is as simple as it seems, and sometimes it’s better for everyone if you just MIND YOUR BUSINESS.

Backers can get a copy of Mind Your Business for $15. There aren’t really any bonus frills as far as extras are concerned Ed, but you can pick up copies of Splatto’s previous Theosophy books (PANdemIC and The Ballad of No). It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $5 for those in the United States.
