Chimera Comics’ “Testament Vol 2” Now on Indiegogo

Chimera Comics recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Testament Vol 2, the 64-page follow-up to the first book that was successfully crowdfunded in 2021.

Written by Chimera and featuring illustrations by Juliano Da Silva, colors by Farah Nurmaliza & Marcos Martins, and lettering by the prolific Eric Weathers, Testament is a blend of sci-fi and “sword & sorcery” fantasy series akin to Mad Max and Vampire Hunter D.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Testament Vol 2 Indiegogo campaign page:

Karl von Magnusson, a swordsman descended from Ancient Gods, allies himself with a rebel group to prevent total war by the vicious King Albrecht. The group seeks to gain allies from the east. Along the way, Karl discovers new abilities and ancient artifacts to help him defeat the evil king.

Backers can get a digital version of Testament Vol 2 for $10, while physical copies start at $25. If you have more cash to spend, you can also receive the following:

  • Multiple copies of the book
  • A variant cover
  • A lore book
  • Sketch cards
  • Original artwork
  • A reprint of the first Testament book if you want to catch up

It is also worth noting that there is an additional shipping charge starting at $8 for those in the United States.
