Hail, “Vestige!” – the new comic from Donal DeLay and Gat Hanzo

Over the weekend, the Centurions and Valkyrie of the “Warcampaign” launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for Vestige, a new self-contained 48-page graphic novel written by Gat Hanzo and featuring interior artwork by Donal DeLay (Brutas the Badass) and cover art by Ethan Van Sciver (Cyberfrog: Blood Honey). Oh, and it’s already crushing its funding goal, raising well over $25 thousand in just two days of funding.

Here’s a plot synopsis taken from the Vestige Indiegogo campaign page.

“Mixing historical accuracy and fantasy adventure, VESTIGE links the events of history through the influence of legendary weapons of the past, and how the “vestige” imbued within these relics might influence the direction of the future for the soon to be modern world.

“These legendary weapons, these relics, convey sometimes vast powers to those who possess them, transforming ordinary mortals into superhumans with supernatural abilities.

“VESTIGE… sets the scene for an ever expanding universe – a world on the brink of modernism, with its future history in question as ancient yet powerful artifacts of the past are uncovered – with more volumes to come.”

Backers can get a physical copy of Vestige for $25, while those who offer more support can get extra copies of the book, a Warcampaign sticker, a fold-in cover poster featuring artwork by Ethan Van Sciver (Hail Caesar victorious!), and the chance to have your likeness drawn into the final product.
