Over the weekend, Retro Graphic Books launched a crowdfunding campaign for The Prospectres: Sigil of Stolas via Indiegogo.

Having failed to achieve its funding goal in 2020, the relaunch of the project is already fully funded, having raised more than $3 thousand at the time of this writing.

Written by Matthew Fowler (Tyger Blue) and featuring illustrations by Ricardo Jaime (Crimstone), colors by Marcos Martins (Dixie Rose) and letters by the prolific Eric Weathers (Battle Brick Road), The Prospectres is a 48-page graphic novel described as a “supernatural western” that thematically blends Indiana Jones and Ghostbusters.

In the years following the California Gold Rush, a former prospector and his demolitions expert sidekick have fallen on hard times. Allied with the mesmerizing psychic medium, Isabella Marie, they take up demon hunting to make ends meet.

Backers can get a digital version of The Prospectres: Sigil of Stolas for $20, while physical copies (along with a two-sided art print, sticker and digital PDF) start at $25. If ye’ got more gold burnin’ a hole in your breeches, then you can also receive the following tchotchkes and extras:
