Lovecraftian horror for all ages, “The Case of the Littlest Umbrella” now crowdfunding on Indiegogo

“Hey therrre…”
The sardonic YouTube personality known as That Umbrella Guy has teamed up with artist Keung Lee (Battle Maiden Knuckle Bomb) to crowdfund The Case of the Littlest Umbrella, an all-new graphic novel intended as a Lovecraftian horror tale suitable for readers of all ages.
Here’s a breakdown of The Case of the Littlest Umbrella taken from the book’s Indiegogo campaign page.
“The tale begins with the idea of madness and something more trying to enter our world, and revolves around a certain detective and the cutest unwitting sidekick trying to stop it! We wanted to create something EVERYONE can love and enjoy, and I also wanted to be able to give something to my daughter to enjoy as well.“
Backers can get The Case of the Littlest Umbrella for $20, while $40 will also get you a second comic in “ashcan” format, The Story of the Goodie Bird by Peter Gilmore. There is also a chance to have your likeness drawn onto a “special thanks” page for $150, but these tiers are limited and look to be selling out fast.
The campaign is quickly approaching its funding goal of $10k, which will already make The Case of the Littlest Umbrella a more profitable venture than all of IDW in 2018… Huzzah!
