“Snowman” Revival Chilling and Killing on Indiegogo

Over the weekend, ALL CAPS COMICS launched a crowdfunding campaign for Snowman: A Cold Day in Hell, a revival of the 90s horror book created by Matthew Martin and originally published by Hall of Heroes.

The original story followed a malevolent Native American spirit that could control ice and snow. This reimagining of Snowman is once again written and illustrated by Martin, but reintroduces the character from the ground up for modern audiences.

Here’s the official plot synopsis taken from the Snowman Indiegogo campaign page:

Daniel Elk Heart is on a journey seeking the meaning of a dark vision that haunts his dreams. With his companion Samual, they will discover a figure of vengeance and hatred they could have never imagined. A victim of a genocidal massacre has somehow returned from the dead and is carving a path of death across the heart of America.

Driven by the echoes of silenced screams, this is the story of a man once known as BLACK DOG.

The one now forever known as THE SNOWMAN.

Backers can get a copy of Snowman for $25. For those with more cold, hard cash to spend, you can also pick up several variant covers, original artwork, or a reprint of Snowman: Early Frost issue 1 from the 1990s, now fully colored.

The crowdfunding campaign for Snowman is already a runaway success, having raised more than $40 thousand at the time of this writing, which means the stretch goals for both full-color interior art and a bonus Snowman sticker have been unlocked.
