Independent comic book creator Keith Gleason recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for The Mighty Mascots issues 7-9.*

Written by Gleason, illustrated by Ian Waryanto and Anton Bandi and published by Alterna Comics, The Mighty Mascots is an action comedy series starring a team of superhero cereal mascots.

The Mighty Mascots are Back!!

Born from a freak 3D printing accident, the Mighty Mascots fight to protect the world from the evil Al-Chem group that is bent on taking over the world with their army of twisted brand mascots and characters.

The series was inspired by my love of Saturday Morning Cartoons and my passion for silver age comic books! Joining me again in my crusade to bring the Mascots to life is the incredible art team of Ian Waryanto (penciler / inker) and Anton Bandi (colorist)! Both of them have helped to give the series its signature look!

Issue #7 (Assurance Policy)

Someone has murdered GADWELL THE DUCK from Mallard Insurance and GRUNT CALHOUN the Crime K-9 is on the case. This issue introduces us to the newest head of the Mascots Crime Division as he enlists the help of the Mighty Mascots to help bring the killer to justice! Story & Letters: Keith Gleason. Issue #8 (A Giant Problem Part 1)

A simple training session for the Mighty Mascots turns into a city wide emergency as the KERNEL and his kaiju sized partner GOG (Gloomy Orange Goliath) target Bottle-Jack City for destruction. Issue #9 (A Giant Problem Part 2)

It’s Mega-Crunch VS GOG in an all out battle to save the heart of Bottle-Jack City. Destruction and chaos reign as the mascots try to stop the biggest foe they’ve ever faced.
