Red Rooster: Golden Age crowdfunding campaign crosses $100k milestone

Earlier this week, the Indiegogo campaign for Red Rooster: Golden Age topped $100 thousand. As announced on social media by Golden Age colorist Elizabeth Breitweiser, the $100k stretch goal brings with it a chance for one lucky backer to win original artwork by Red Rooster creator Mitch Breitweiser and Cyberfrog creator Ethan Van Sciver.
Red Rooster: Golden Age is a 60-page graphic novel written and illustrated by Mitch Breitweiser with colors by Elizabeth Breitweiser. Golden Age is also one of the latest independent comics to achieve success via crowdfunding, joining other independent creations such as Cyberfrog, Lady Death, and Jawbreakers.
Congratulations are certainly in order for both Mitch & Elizabeth Breitweiser, as $100k is certainly not chicken scratch. It will be interesting to see how high the Red Rooster campaign goes before it concludes, then there may be a total to really crow about!
There’s still 11 days remaining to support the Red Rooster Indiegogo campaign, which you can check out here.
